Sleep-Over Training

The fastest route to a well-mannered dog

In a sleep-over board and train your dog lives with one of our professional trainers, in their home, for that home-like feel. Your dog trains every day instead of once a week, and you get daily updates with pictures or videos. At the end, a hand-over session shows you everything your dog learned and how to keep it going. Prefer to do the training yourself? Our private obedience lessons cover the core commands at your pace.

Why Board And Train Works

What the board and train programs deliver

Daily, not weekly

Your dog trains every day with a professional instead of once a week.

A real home, not a kennel

Your dog stays in a trainer's home, so the manners are built where dogs actually live.

Daily updates

Pictures or videos every day, so you can see what your dog is working on.

Off-leash work

The two-week program works on come, sit and place on and off leash, at the trainer's discretion.

A hand-over session

You learn every command and how to handle it before your dog comes home.

Board and train questions

Where does my dog stay?

With one of our trainers, in their home, not in a boarding kennel. That is deliberate: house manners are easiest to build where a dog is actually living.

How long is board and train?

One week or two weeks for the sleep-over programs, seven days for the day program, or five nights for a custom program. The two-week program is the one that adds off-leash work and lifetime refreshers.

How old does my dog need to be?

Six months or older. Younger puppies can do the Happy Puppy Board & Train, a five-night introduction for puppies 10 to 22 weeks old.

Will my dog be off leash at the end?

The two-week program works on commands on and off leash. Off-leash work is always at the trainer's discretion: if a dog is anxious, a flight risk, or shows aggression, being off leash is not in its best interest, and the trainer will tell you.
